Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua begin talks for super-fight in New York

Talks for a super-fight between Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder, world heavyweight champion rival begins in the big apple this evening.
Promoter Eddie Hearn arrives at new-york, saying:  negotiations  are going on tonight (Thursday) for AJ to wrestle Wilder in 2018.’
Pressure mounts on for Joshua, holder of the WBA and IBF world titles, to fight Wilder, the WBC champion, in an exceeding blockbuster fight.

After Joshua defeated Carlos Takam at the Cardiff’s principality sports stadium, Wilder inflicted a lot of speculation over Bermaine Stiverne in the big apple and also called out AJ to ‘stop running his mouth and fight him.’
Hearn has been hoping to route Wilder through a London preparation fight against Dillian Wyte in February however the American’s promoter, Lou DiBella, has hit out stating that as ‘ridiculous.’

The temporary fight will place at Wembley stadium which encounters difficulty in the discussions, however.
Hearn would still prefer to delay Joshua fight to the WBO heavyweight Champs by fighting New Zealand’s Joseph Parker within the spring of next year, so moving Wilder fight back to next summer.

Both Joshua and Parker are undefeated, having knocked out each of their opponents.
Hearn is in big apple in readiness for his 1st Matchroom promotion within the U.S.A., this Saturday’s light-heavyweight fight between his new recruits, Daniel Jacobs, against Luis Arias.
