Neymar’s move to Real Madrid could be more realistic than many had first thought, after his dad has reportedly had dinner with the club Chief Florentino Perez to discuss a potential €250million (£220million) deal.
The Paris Saint-Germain superstar is less than six months into his £600,000-a-week deal – following the world-record £198million move from Barcelona in the summer – but is already said to be unsettled in the French capital.
Recent reports have suggested that the Brazilian is highly sought after by the Real President as a potential long-term replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
What’s more, as indicated by Diario Gol, his dad, Neymar Sr, has eaten with the Los Blancos boss to resolve a potential arrangement. An arrangement that would break the record-charge held by the man himself.
As indicated by the Spanish news magazine, while Neymar is seeking after a move far from the Parc des Princes toward the finish of his first season in Paris, he may need to hold up until the late spring of 2019 to secure his turn.
‘Neymar Sr guaranteed the President of the Real that he would put however much weight as could reasonably be expected on Nasser Al-Khelaïfi to give his child a chance to get away from this late spring,’ Diario Gol composed.
‘You have my assertion,’ Neymar Sr said by the reports.
Discussion of the previous Barcelona star joining their El Classico rivals has separated supposition, with previous colleague Luis Suarez expelling the cases.
‘Not under any condition. Truly, I don’t see it,’ Suarez disclosed to Marca not long ago. ‘I realize what Neymar resembles and the profound respect he had for Barcelona and his colleagues.
‘I don’t see him now going to play for Real Madrid.’
