Tiemoue Bakayoko has begun his medical with AC Milan as he closes in on a season-long loan move from Chelsea.
The midfielder, who only moved to Stamford Bridge from Monaco last summer, was pictured climbing into a car with club officials in Milan on Monday.
Bakayoko is expected to complete his temporary switch later in the day, although the deal does include the option of a permanent £35.5million move next summer.

The midfielder gave a wave to the cameras before being driven away to undergo the rest of his medical as he looks to end his short but difficult spell at Chelsea.
Bakayoko failed to establish himself under former boss Antonio Conte following his £40m move from Ligue 1 and did not win many admirers among Chelsea’s fanbase.
He was not involved in the squad for Saturday’s opening 3-0 win at Huddersfield and has been deemed surplus to requirements by new manager Maurizio Sarri.
The Italian signed central midfielder Jorginho from his former club Napoli earlier this summer and has also added Mateo Kovacic to his squad on loan from Real Madrid.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace, is also back at Stamford Bridge to give Sarri another midfield option.
Bakayoko started 25 Premier League games in his first season in the Premier League, but now appears unlikely to play for the club again.
