Juventus win! Parma started well and were pretty good value for their lead when Brugman clipped home a delightful free-kick midway through the first half, but they were pegged back on the brink of half-time when Sandro smashed home a half-volley from the edge of the area at a corner.
The Brazilian doubled his tally for the night and for the season just minutes into the second half when he ghosted in at the back post to nod home a Cuadrado cross to put Andrea Pirlo’s side in front.
Cuadrado was a menace throughout the game and added a second assist 20 minutes later as his corner was powered home by De Ligt, who had earlier teed up Sandro for Juve’s first.
Juve saw out the win with ease to move onto 65 points from 32 matches, one ahead of Atalanta, who play AS Roma on Thursday, while Parma remain in deep trouble in 19th, 11 points from the safety zone.
Andrea Agnelli watched on as Juventus came from behind to beat relegation strugglers Parma in Serie A.
The result will have pleased Agnelli, who has endured a tumultuous week in which European football’s heavyweights attempted to change the landscape forever.
A good night for Juve. Not only have they won, but AC Milan lost earlier and Inter are drawing right now, so the gap at the top could close.
For now, they’re above Atalanta into third, with the Bergamo side playing tomorrow. Parma remain 19th, and in big trouble.
