France’s win leaves them second in Group F after Portugal’s 3-0 win over Hungary earlier, while Germany sit in third.
This is Germany’s first ever defeat in their opening game at the Euros. Low’s side aren’t at risk of going out yet but they’ll need to find their shooting boots to get through a difficult group.
France head to Budapest to face Hungary next while Germany welcome Portugal to Munich this weekend.
