Moussa Dembele scored twice off the bench against Arsenal to win the Emirates Cup for Lyon. Pierre-Emerick Aubamyeang had given the Gunners the lead just before half-time.
Ex-Celtic man, Dembele, then came on to down Unai Emery’s side at the Emirates.
The Gunners thought they had a penalty when Nacho Monreal was brought down early on but John Moss waved the appeal away.
Joe Willock replaced Alexandre Lacazette who came off with an injury and was straight into the action as he tested Anthony Lopes from close range. Aubamyeang broke the deadlock 10 minutes before the break as Mkhitaryan fired a cross at the Gabon international who turned the ball into the net.
The Gunners were dominating the second half but Moussa Dembele stunned the hosts as he headed home in the 66th minute. Gabriel Martinelli thought he had given the north London side the lead but it was disallowed for offside.
Lyon then raced down the other end and Dembele added a second to see off the Gunners.
