Juventus have won their first match in the International Champions Cup after they needed penalties to see off rivals Inter Milan in China.
Just 10 minutes into his first start for the club, Matthijs de Ligt turned the ball into his own net from a corner as Inter Milan took an early lead.
Juve boss made several changes at half-time but it was Cristiano Ronaldo who made the difference as the Portuguese star equalised with a free-kick.
The 34-year-old’s effort took a big deflection off the wall to take it past Daniele Padelli in the Inter goal.
Ronaldo had the chance to win it long after rounding Padelli.
However, the substitute keeper made a superb last-ditch tackle to deny the Portugal captain a second.
The game went straight to penalties after the game ended 1-1 at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Center.
Gianluigi Buffon saved the first penalty to get Juve off to a great start before Joao Cancelo buried his spot-kick.

Juve had the chance to win it again but the spot-kick was smashed against the bar before Buffon was called on again to save his third penalty.
At the end starlet Merih Demiral eventually did win it for the Old Lady to secure their first win at the International Champions Cup.
