‘I will love to play in the Premier League: Gonzalo Higuain hints at leaving Juventus amid Chelsea interest

Gonzalo Higuain hints at leaving Juventus amid Chelsea interest.

The Argentina striker has been on Chelsea’s radar this summer and has already reportedly been offered to the west London club.

Higuain signed for the Serie A side from Napoli back in July 2016 and his contract runs until 2021.

‘I have a contract with Juventus and no one has communicated anything different,’ he told ESPN in Argentina.

‘I’m very calm, my soul stays in Turin for now.

‘But I would love to play in the Premier League, it fascinates me a lot.
Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has struggled since joining the club last summer.

The Spaniard scored 15 goals in 48 appearances for the Blues during the 2017-18 campaign, compared to Higuain’s 23 in 50.

Higuain trained with his Argentina team-mates on Thursday at Barcelona’s training ground ahead of the World Cup.
