Manchester City confirm the £55million signing of Joao Cancelo from Juventus who has signed a six-year contract at the Etihad.
City have paid Juve £26m and Danilo, who is valued at £34m, has rapt to Turin in part-exchange.
It is City’s second massive deal of the summer after snapping up Rodri from Atletico Madrid for £62.6m and can nearly definitely conclude their transfer business prior to the Premier League transfer deadline on Thursday.
Cancelo, 25, will provide direct competition with Kyle Walker at right-back position but can also play on the left.
City were keen to recover £26.5m the amount they paid to Real Madrid for Danilo two years ago.
The 28-year-old Brazil international, who feature in 60 appearances for City, arrived in Turin by private jet on Tuesday to secure a medical.
After the transfer deal was affirmed on Wednesday night, Cancelo said: ‘City are a fantastic club, with a brilliant boss and I am delighted to be here.
