Marseille release team photo for the season with Patrice Evra included despite been released by the club

Marseille has discharged their official group photo for the 2017/18 – fumblingly it highlights Patrice Evra who is no longer at the club.

The Ligue 1 club tweeted the photograph on Sunday. It included players, for example, Dimitri Payet, Steve Mandanda, Luiz Gustavo and, tragically, Evra.

The previous Manchester United full-back, who seems second from appropriate on the front column, had his agreement ended by Marseille a week ago after he pointed a kung-fu kick at a fan’s head during Europa League game prior this month.

‘Furthermore, here it is! Your authority 2017/18 #OM first group photograph,’ the club’s legitimate Twitter account tweeted.

The French club affirmed their choice 20 minutes after UEFA uncovered the 36-year-old left back has been prohibited from European club football until the finish of June 2018 and fined €10,000 (£8,829).

Evra will, in any case, have the capacity to play residential matches amid his seven-month suspension so it is indistinct whether this will mean the finish of his profession.

He conflicted with supporters before the diversion against Vitoria Guimaraes in Portugal. Subsequent to being subjected to sneers amid the warm-up, the Frenchman went to stand up to the guilty parties.

A touchy pitch-side fight followed, with his kick reminiscent of Eric Cantona’s on a Crystal Palace fan in 1995. Evra was driven away by colleagues yet was then sent off by the official before UEFA started an examination.

Blunt McCourt, Marseille’s American owner, later said Evra’s activities were ‘unsatisfactory’ and an announcement on Friday affirmed the player had left the club.
