Premier League rivals Manchester United and Tottenham are both keeping tabs on Romania international Dennis Man.
The 20-year-old, who plays as an attacking midfielder, has scored seven goals in 23 appearances for FCSB in his homeland this season.
Man has also attracted interest from Roma and Turkish club Fenerbahce, who are believed to have had a £2.5million bid for him rejected.
WHO IS DENNIS MAN?
Position: Attacking midfielder
Clubs: UTA Arad, FCSB
Total appearances: 133
Romania caps: 2
Romania goals: 0
And according to The Sun, United and Spurs are now in the race to sign him after he caught the eye with a series of impressive displays.
Mauricio Pochettino is said to have sent a scout to watch Man in action on Sunday, only for the game against Viitorul Constanta to be postponed due to fog and rearranged for Tuesday night.
Man, who plays mainly on the right wing and has won two caps for his country, joined FCSB for around £360,000 from UTA Arad back in 2016.
Owner Gigi Becali dismissed Fenerbahce’s offer for the talented youngster and said he wanted £25m to part with him.
However, it is claimed that the Romanian giants, who were formerly known as Steaua Bucharest, would accept a lower fee for Man.
United and Spurs could test their resolve to keep the winger soon, with the January transfer window just a few weeks away from opening.
