Tottenham have completed the £25million signing of left-back Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham.
The 19-year-old has signed a contract with the Club until 2025 and will wear the number 19 shirt.
The left-sided player made 35 appearances in the Premier League last season, bringing his total during his time at Fulham to 120 appearances and 25 goals.
Sessegnon has attracted interest from a number of clubs at home and abroad since bursting onto the scene as a 16-year-old.
But the idea of working with Mauricio Pochettino, who has turned a string of players into senior England internationals, has appealed to Young Lions starlet Sessegnon for some time. Sessegnon has been recovering from a hamstring injury during pre-season so won’t be available from the outset after completing his Spurs switch.
Spurs have also confirmed the signing of Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.
The Argentina international will spend a season on loan at Spurs who will have an option to then make the deal permanent for £60million.
The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to north London throughout the summer, with an agreement finally being reached in the dying moments of deadline day.
An option to purchase the player at this stage was not taken due to the cut owned to the player’s former club Paris Saint Germain.
Lo Celso was keen to move to Spurs and also work with his fellow Argentinian Pochettino so personal terms were not a problem.
